Our Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Co-ordinator, reporting to our Field Service Manager, based in our UK site in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

 

As part of our team in the UK, working alongside colleagues in Sweden and Denmark, this role is dedicated to the successful delivery of global field service operations by coordinating people, resources, logistics, commercial activities, and customer requirements, and by ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

 

  • Drive the global coordination and deployment of Field Service Representatives (FSRs), ensuring the right technical expertise is assigned to customer projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, agents, BCx teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, delivering clear communication and seamless execution of field service activities.
  • Manage and maintain the global Field Service schedule, optimizing resource allocation, workforce utilization, and service delivery across regions.
  • Strengthen operational effectiveness and regional collaboration by actively participating in Field Service Coordination meetings and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor site progress and project milestones, proactively managing risks, addressing scheduling challenges, and supporting successful project delivery.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates and customer quotations for preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, overhauls, revamps, upgrades, and other service opportunities by collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver commercially competitive solutions.
  • Source and procure parts, labour, logistics, specialist manpower, and external resources required to support field service operations while balancing quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate global logistics activities, including shipping documentation, transportation, receipt, tracking, and inventory management of parts, orders, compressors, and service equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage contract-related invoicing and monthly revenue forecasts, providing accurate financial reporting, billing, and visibility to support business performance.
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and allocation of labour hours, travel time, and expenses, ensuring accurate project costing, financial controls, and operational reporting.
  • Manage timekeeping processes and maintain accurate records of working hours, supporting payroll, project accounting, and resource planning activities.
  • Maintain ownership and accuracy of CRM quotation and service data, ensuring reliable reporting, informed decision-making, and effective customer management.
  • Maintain and continuously update the FSE training matrix, ensuring service personnel have the required skills, certifications, and competencies to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate international travel and mobilization requirements for Field Service team, including visas, work permits, travel documentation, and related logistics to support global assignments.
  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards are understood, implemented, and consistently followed to protect employees, subcontractors, customers, and the wider business.

 

This role will also require:

  • Advanced SAP knowledge and experience
  • Experience in Microsoft CRM Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in coordination or disposition of Service personnel
  • Valid driving license
