Managment Accountant

To drive and develop our Finance Team in Northwest Europe, we are looking for a Management Accountant - Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will be an experienced management accountant to get involved in all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, financial risk management, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead on:
- All accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition
- Month-end and year-end close process
- Production of timely monthly consolidated financial statements
- Quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Managing and complying with local regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings
Assist with:
- Accounting and tax considerations relating to the setup and administration of international entities
- Preparation of regulatory reporting and internal/external audit processes
- Research of technical accounting issues for compliance
- Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Required qualifications and experience
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in industry (preferably SME)
Desired qualifications and experience
- Experience with multi-national group company structures
- Knowledge of Access accounting software
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
