For our Italian Branch located in Caponago (MB) we are seeking a committed and proactive:

QC Global Supplier Enablement – Casting and Machining

The QC-Enabler is a function within Supplier Enablement in the Global Category Management and Supply Chain Development department of Systems Division, designated to manage enablement of new and existing suppliers.

The function supports the strategic and operational procurement functions on local basis in quality matters. The function evaluates possible developments of suppliers for BC parts requirements. As an important part of the role, the function supports and coordinates with various interface functions in CEM like Engineering, Procurement (Strategic and Operational), Value Engineering, in affairs related to development of suppliers, Products as well BC Group Production network..

the main task will be mainly:

Supplier Quality Enablement

• Creation and maintenance of quality qualification of suppliers (casting and machining) in database.
• Preparation and execution of supplier upskilling and training including documentation required.
• Conduct and impart specific trainings to suppliers as per the upskilling concept & continuous improvement required.
• Carry out inspections (QC) at suppliers for test parts, during on-boarding and improvement projects.
• Support suppliers to conduct inspections acc to BC standards, incl. training and documentation.
• Creation of analyses in relation of quality notifications and inspection planning
• Monitor the performance of suppliers post-training to ensure they are applying the knowledge effectively.
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics. Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance.

Creation of training documents and manuals

• Create detailed and clear training documents that cover all necessary topics. This might include quality control processes and inspection plans, product specifications, and best practices.
• Keeping the training documents up to date with the latest standards and regulations. Regularly reviewing and revise the materials to reflect any changes in processes or requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all training sessions.
• Creating and managing training certifications.
• Exception handling of supplier, organizing and preparing the right answer and actions.
• Creation and maintaining of manuals in relation with the SAP Q-Modul with support from our Global Support Center (GSC)

Candidate Profile:

• Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic, machine mechanic
• Further education in mechanical engineering and/or quality management
• Experience of working on CMM and/or laser tracker & the procedures will be of advantage
• Very good IT knowledge (Microsoft 365)
• Application knowledge of ERP system SAP required in QM
• English (Fluent) - Any other languages as plus
