Field Service Representative

We are looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to strengthen our Services Team who will be perform a variety of tasks on our own or other brand reciprocating compressor systems at the customer’s site.

Your daily contribution:

• Perform field service activities in the oil & gas sector
• Carry out mechanical installation of reciprocating compressors and auxiliary systems
• Execute commissioning and start-up procedures for compressor plants
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on compressor systems
• Manage large-scale site operations, including new installations, overhauls, modifications, and system revamps
• Diagnose and repair reciprocating compressors and auxiliary systems
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Technical Support team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Ensure timely completion of all required project documentation and reporting

Your Profile:

• Apprenticeship in the mechanical field
• Preferably gained experience on rotating equipment (N6, Burckhardt Compression) and in an industrial environment or in comparable hands-on/ field service work
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, a high degree of independence and the ability to communicate and convince in technical discussions with customers and colleagues
• Passion for customer focus, possess a flexible and positive attitude and the ability to deal with people of different nationalities and backgrounds
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Good command of English (oral & written) is a must, knowledge of any other language is an asset
• Trade Test Certificate & N3 Mechanical
