Finance & Administrative Specialist

For our office in Istanbul, we are looking for a Financial and Administrative Specialist who will work closely with our local team and support them in various topics. 

 

The main tasks and responsibilities in this role are:

  • Provide reports about sales, order intake, backlog, forecast, account receivaibles, on weekly or monthly basis as per management needs
  • Supervise the process of preparing and finalizing monthly financial reports required from the group according to Swiss GAAP in close collaboration with our external Accounting firm
  • Provide continuous support for the local operations and accounting practices for costs capture, process efficiency and profitability
  • Respond to any ad-hoc requests from BC divisional or group controlling or accounting
  • Monitor bank accounts and all related transfers and maintenance of the cash flow
  • Provide support during the hiring process (e.g. arranging interview, supporting the onboarding process) and liaise with the external payroll provider
  • Co-ordination and management of exhibitions and conferences and management of petty cash and travel expenses
  • Executing the license renewal process annually or as required, liaise with internal and external departments and support the compliance of ISO standards and documentation.

 

The ideal candidate should bring the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or relevant fields, or equivalent job experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a Finance (cost controlling) role, preferably with experience in aftersales operations
  • Knowledge in accounting or professional accounting background is a plus
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must. Being a Turkish native speaker and another foreign language knowledge (preferably Russian) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Experience with CRM, IBM Cognos Controller and MS Power BI is a plus

  • Good communication skills in cross cultural and multinational environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally on a frequent basis
