Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Import of bank statements in SAP
• Process and post incoming customer payments in SAP.
• Allocation and clearing of customer receipts against open invoices.
• Bank reconciliation on daily basis and ensure postings done on timely basis.
• Investigation and resolution of unapplied / unidentified customer payments.
• Posting other entries such as Fx hedges, Bank Guarantee & other charges as per the bank statement.
• Customer account reconciliations and periodic balance confirmations.
• Intercompany Sales invoice booking.
• Support in AR dunning process.
• Intercompany Dispute management in Coupa / IC reconciliation.
• Support in various topics such as process documentations, internal control system, audits, etc.
• Manage monthly commission statements and commission accounts.
• Prepare single and bulk payments to agents.
• Support in internal follow-up of overdue receivables and invoicing
• Support in GRN account maintenance
• Processing invoices ensuring 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices.
• Managing vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies, and performing reconciliations of vendor statements.
• Ensuring correct GL coding, account mapping, and compliance with company policies to prevent fraud
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and account reconciliation

Education, Experience and Languages:

• B.Com. / M. Com. With 3-5 yrs experience in Accounts Receivable (Must have), with broad understanding on Accounts Payable.
• Good knowledge of SAP FI module (Must have) and MS office (Excel)
