Position: Casting / Forging Specialist

Location: Kondhapuri in Pune

Your contributions to organisation's growth

• Technical supplier management viz. technical support to suppliers on problems and quality issues as well to Purchasing team for technical selection of suppliers.
• Support to category management/SQA/VD during Gate approval process.
• Technical evaluation of potential suppliers and active suppliers (audits etc.)
• Evaluation of technical requirements of parts for the foundry process
• Monitoring of Quality for casting parts
• Creation of guidelines for and monitoring of prototype casting parts process

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

• Graduation / Diploma in Foundry technology / Mechanical Engineering
• 8-12 Years of professional experience as Casting technologist / Expert in Grey / Ductile Iron foundry or similar function of "Specialist" in an Engineering company
• Profound work experience and technical knowhow in castings and foundry
• Education and practical experience in areas of Quality management in Foundries
• Knowledge and practical experience of using simulation tools.
• Knowledge of Destructive/Non-Destructive testing
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, QMS/EMS/HS standards
