Position: Design Engineer

Location: Kondhapuri

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Modelling and drafting of casting, forging, machining, assembly, tubing drawings using 3D software UG-NX and preliminary checking of drawings 
• Drawing data management using PLM Team centre and ERP system SAP
• Prepare specifications and procedures
• Prepare bills of material in team center
• Ensure accuracy of product.
• Issue of drawings / documents to other departments (as per requirement)
• Maintain documentation and records as per ISO Guidelines     
• Maintain and adhere IMS (QMS + EMS) procedures
• Support to order execution and close coordination with all stake holders related to order execution to resolve operating issues
• Support for resolving nonconformance, field complaints, suggestions from other depts, new product development
• Adhere to product standardization and value engineering approach

Education/ experience / languages:

• Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma with Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience and having good academics
• Knowledge of any 3D software (NX will be advantageous)
• Knowledge of MS Office, any ERP system, SAP preferable
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc
• Experience in reciprocating compressor or rotating equipment industry (will be added advantage)
• Basic knowledge of GD&T
• Proficiency in English.
• German (Will be added advantage)

• Timely completion of drawings
