Market Intelligence Analyst

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Deliver timely, accurate market insights that empower strategic decisions and drive growth at both global and regional levels. This role ensures that critical information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs is captured and leveraged effectively.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collect and analyse data from internal and external sources to build actionable insights.
• Prepare concise reports & dashboards summarizing findings for stakeholders and to build foundation for data-driven decisions (e.g. to support order intake forecasting activities).
• Maintain and update market intelligence databases and trackers.

Education, experience and languages:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in market intelligence, strategic analysis, or business analytics, ideally in relevant industry. 
• Proven track record in market modeling, analytics, and competitive intelligence.
• Advanced Power BI skills and familiarity with CRM/ERP data and market data platforms.
• Experience in industrial goods or B2B capital equipment is an advantage. Knowledge of rotating equipment or compression markets is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in English.

Special requirements:

• Strong analytical and research skills; ability to interpret complex data.
• Familiarity with market research methods and data analytic tools (Power BI and related).
• Good communication skills for summarizing insights clearly.
• High attention to detail.
• Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate and explain findings in a clear and concise way.
