Marketing Manager - Events and Projects

The role of the Marketing Manager Events and Projects is to manage global events, exhibitions, and communications projects with stakeholders across the sales organization. The Marketing Manager Events and Projects drives these projects with the objective to support internal stakeholders and the divisional strategy.
--> Main responsibilities:
Exhibitions:
- Take full ownership of global exhibitions and events, including planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Organization of exhibitions and coordination of external partners.
- Support organization of customer events and internal events.
- Control and manage budget and organization of production activities and resources.
- Oversee promotional item sourcing, and branding materials.
- Manage logistics for international shipping and exhibition support.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners for event success.
Project Management Support:
- Support Head of Group Marketing & Communications in project management tasks across MarCom initiatives.
- Track project progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are met.
- Prepare project documentation and reports.
- Project Management of communication projects.
- Consolidate and translate requests of internal clients into projects.
- Define projects together and manage these projects in our standard tools.
- Manage external suppliers if services can't be rendered by internal resources.
- Keep communication team members up-to-date on project progress.
- Escalate conflicts and issues to the appropriate managers.
Deputy for GSC MarCom Content:
- Act as deputy for Marketing Manager GSC, ensuring continuity in content-related projects and team leadership during absences.
- Collaborate with the GSC MarCom Content team on digital marketing, design, and content production.
--> Education / Experience / Language:
- Experience: 8 to 12 years
- Experience in project management
- Business, design or technical education with a specialization in marketing or communication
- Knowledge of Creative Cloud
- Strong project management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Having a sense for the business and economic feasibilities of our industry
- At home in multidisciplinary, multicultural, internationally oriented (B2B) environment
- Open to travel for events and exhibition
--> Language: (+required level): Very good communication skills in English (presenting, writing, personal contact)
--> IT skills:
- Microsoft 365 applications, Digital marketing tools, Project Management tools
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience
