Position: Order Manager

Location: Kondhapuri

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Responsibility for the on-time and on-budget processing of complete Compressor as well as maintaining the required readiness for delivery. 
• Ensuring the on-time delivery of compressors according to the defined deadline 
• Compliance with the valid process descriptions, development and maintenance of existing process documentation in cooperation with the supervisor. 
• Define, implement, and monitor strategic safety stocks 
• Submit information to Compressor project managers for Quotations 
• Contribute to Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations for seamless order execution. 
• Optimize inventory, safety stocks and material availability. 
• Manage critical orders, escalations and delivery risks. 
• Develop KPI reporting for OTD, planning accuracy and capacity utilization. 
• Lead cross-functional improvement and cost optimization projects.

Compressor Planning: 

• Detailed planning of the compressor production in cooperation with the Compressor Project Manager and Operations 
• Creation of the compressor progress report 
• Internal planning of the compressor customer acceptance tests Escalation according to the escalation principle

Production Planning and control:

• Monitoring and coordination of the load situation in production in Cooperation with the management team of Operations 
• Creation of the medium-term planning (preview) for Operations 
• Initiation, development, moderation and support of measures in the event of incidents, deviations, supplements, etc. in cooperation with internal offices 
• Ensuring the timely delivery of express orders in cooperation with Operations 
• Cost control of production orders   Load chart update / review as per lean requirements

Disposition:

• Maintenance of management-relevant master data 
• Management of product groups to optimize given parameters 
• Initiate and lead improvement projects in a team 
• Initiate and work on cross-interface improvement projects 

Education/ experience / languages:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / production technology 
• Expertise in production planning / SCM 
• 8–12 years' experience in Production Planning 
• Working knowledge of SAP in MM and PP module 
• Experience in project-based manufacturing preferred
• Spoken & written English is must
