Position: Plant Design Specialist

Location: Pune

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Responsible for 2D drafting & 3D Modelling of equipment and overall plant layout.
• This role demands drafting of drawings which are accurate and interpret relevant meaning from them.
• Preparation of project drawings such as P&I diagram, General Arrangement, Foundation.
• Manufacturing detail drawings & drafting of various machined and fabricated components.
• Preparing piping isometric drawings and steel structure (Skid or Pipe support) with Bill of Material.
• Understanding the piping material specification and material grades.
• To follow the project schedule – To plan, design, review and validate from time to time and project to project.
• Refer and Respond timely to the respective assignment details filled by any task creator in the GSC Task List.
• To attend order transfer meetings, 3D model review meetings, project review meeting.
• Co-ordinate with requestor to finalize drawing.
• Workload status report at the attention of the Manager CAD.
• Report to the Manager CAD if deadlines shift.
• Report to the Manager CAD of job conclusion.

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

• BE/DME with min. 3-5 years of experience
• Skills: Sound knowledge of any CAD or 3D modelling or plant design software.
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.
• Conversant to manufacturing and assembly drawings, General Arrangement of layouts, Piping & Instrumentation diagram, schematic diagram and symbology, Isometric drawings, GD&T
