Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Kondhapuri

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Commodities to be handled: Machined finish parts and machining of castings, forgings and bar components for compressor.
• Float enquiries of above-mentioned commodities.
• Evaluate quotations, Make Cost comparison, Negotiate and raise Purchase Orders through SAP system.
• Cost calculations for machining operations.
• Expediting with vendors for on-time delivery, sort out technical issues with supplier\Engineering
• Monthly planning of subcon parts.
• Co-ordination & expediting with vendors and QA dept. for on-time inspections.
• Co-ordination with QA for on-time GRN clearance
• Visit to vendors needed for expediting of pending activities or pending material.
• New supplier development and new parts development at existing suppliers.
• Cost control w.r.to budget
• Evaluate vendor performance along with VD.
• Documentation of Purchase Order & related activities
• Update and maintain data required for MIS.
• Maintain & adhere to QMS, EOHS & related procedures.
• Establish and nurture relationships with vendors.
• Should know various manufacturing processes, cutting tool knowledge.
• Working knowledge of large CNC & VMC machines

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

• BE (Mech. or Prod.) with 4-5 year / DME or DPE with 6-8 experience.
• Knowledge of EOHS/ISO Procedures
• Knowledge of SAP PP & MM Module, MS Word, MS Excel, Power point
• Good command over written and verbal communication
• General awareness about material standards & manufacturing processes.
