Position: Procurement Manager

Location: Kondhapuri

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

·      Support Category Management in defining category strategy per spend category

·      Estimate category total spend with sales and operation

·      Carry out Supplier Landscape analysis and sourcing plan

·      Identify potential new suppliers

·      To carry out Gate1 & 2 process for identified suppliers

·      Follow up on new technologies & processes

·      Ensure local strategy implementation

·      Set-up and drive savings initiatives for category

·      Oversee / perform supplier screening and qualification

·      With Deputy Category manager or Category Manager, prepare RfXs, lead negotiations and set frame contracts

·      Roll out locally Burckhardt Agreed Vendor List

·      Manage regional supplier development with Vendor Development Engineer

·      Support operation on escalation for supply chain / quality issues

·      Negotiate with suppliers for project above given threshold

·      Support Deputy Category Manager in regional supplier negotiation

·      Update and maintain data required for reporting systems

·      Maintain and adhere QMS, EOHS & related procedures

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

·      Degree or master's in engineering

·      Knowledge of SAP MM Module, MS Word, MS Excel, Power point

·      3 yrs. of Experience in category management direct material (industrial products, customer tailored solutions, castings, forging, machined item).
