Position: Project Engineer- Civil and Structural  

Location: Pune

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

PE CS will have to deal with the daily activity of Sales and Project Support (SPS) for Civil engineering.

• Supporting sales during Quote/Offer phase for Civil related topics
• In alignment with Lead Engineer Civil and Structural (LE CS) review of Client Specification/Tender during quote phase
• Reply to basic requests related to foundation and Civil Structures for rotating/reciprocating machinery and equipment.
• In general, the execution of engineering services as defined for Project Engineering Office (PEO) for Civil and Structural matters.
• Reviewing the results of Civil Service execution by others
• Calculation of anchor bolt loads for Compressor and other Equipment in general, evaluation of feasibility of deviation from BC standard for compressor anchor bolts.
• Predesign and check of main steel structures.
• Support Project Engineers for Civil points/queries during execution of the project with Customer/Consultant etc.

PE CS will have to collaborate/deal with LE Civil and Structural as follows:

• Support LE in collecting feedback from Project Execution team, about practical issues of daily design activity.
• Support LE in preparation of technical documents.
• Support LE in improvement of existing and creation of new services.
• Improvement of Engineering tools in collaboration with LE CS and LE Engineering Tools.
• Address Civil Engineering issues to LE CS, when required.

Education/ experience / languages:

• Bachelor's degree either in Civil Engineering (master's degree may be added advantage)
• At least 3-5 years' experience in similar position/industry
• Knowledge in use of Finite Element software (e.g. Ansys/equivalent) for structural design and structural analysis
• Experience with structural checks according to Indian and major International Standards for civil engineering, mainly regarding steel structures and concrete structures for rotating/vibrating machineries
• Former experience with rotating/vibrating machineries and foundations will be added advantage
• Experience on seismic calculations is a plus
• Proficiency in English speaking and writing
