Senior Developer AI and Automation

General Purpose: 

The role of the Senior Developer AI & Automation is to take over end-to-end responsibility for the design, development, customization, deployment, support and maintenance of AI-driven automation solutions built using Python, Azure and similar ecosystems. This position combines hands-on development, solution design, technical leadership and stakeholder consulting to ensure scalable, secure and cloud-native digital solutions that drive productivity and business transformation.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain AI driven automation solutions within any cloud ecosystems like Azure, Google or AWS, including document processing workflows, and integration of AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Computer Vision, LLMs, etc.).
• Support the enterprise-level solution designs, frameworks, and best practices for AI and automation in alignment and strong collaboration with the Enterprise architect and/or other architecture roles and functions.
• Implement complex business logic, data processing pipelines, and automation workflows.
• Build cloud-native applications leveraging Functions, App Services, and serverless components.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures combining Python orchestration, Storage, and Cognitive Search.
• Design secure, scalable Azure architectures for AI/automation solutions, including storage, compute, networking, and identity components.
• Act as technical advisor to internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Provide strong knowledge for enterprise-grade delivery practices, including ALM processes, environment architecture, DevOps automation, governance and DLP implementation, as well as operational monitoring, analytics, and continuous improvement of platform reliability.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants, supporting their technical and professional development path.
• Support 1st level support team by providing 2nd level support for the applications in the responsibility area (2nd level support).
• Lead and develop the global Productivity Community, driving knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of developments, system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Independently execute Change Requests, enhancements and small change projects. 
• Define non-functional requirements and requirement frameworks for our digital solutions portfolio

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's (B.E. or B.Sc.) or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 10 years' experience with app development and/or process automation. 
• Proven track record in delivering apps and process automations in complex environments.
• Proven expertise in Python, Generative AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and frameworks, Azure integration services as well as ALM.
• Certifications like DP-100 or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with CoPilot Studio
