Career opportunity with Burckhardt Compression

We are looking for experienced Team Lead – CAD to strengthen our team in Pune

Main tasks:

• Responsible for 2D drafting & 3D Modelling of equipment and overall plant layout.
• This role demands drafting of drawings which are accurate and interpret relevant meaning from them.
• Preparation of project drawings such as P&I diagram, General Arrangement, Foundation.
• Manufacturing detail drawings & drafting of various machined and fabricated components.
• Preparing piping isometric drawings and steel structure (Skid or Pipe support) with Bill of Material.
• Understanding the piping material specification and material grades.
• To follow the project schedule – To plan, design, review and validate from time to time and project to project.
• Refer and Respond timely to the respective assignment details filled by any task creator in the GSC Task List.
• To attend order transfer meetings, 3D model review meetings, project review meeting.
• 4 Eye review of CAD documents and ensure the consistence efficiency in team execution.
• Monitoring & review of teamwork progress and conduct the various training program and lesson learning sessions.
• Resolving the technical problem in time & supporting to team.
• Liaison with cross functional team within organization for technical matters.
• Plan, coordinate and manage team members and activities with other sections (I&C, PE)
• Co-ordinate with BCx for workload.
• Workload status report at the attention of the Section Head.
• Implement and maintain the defined quality system
• Improve existing product
• Help in development of new products and assemblies
• Evaluate and motivate team members to reach company / department / section / personal objectives
• To get section member properly trained as for activity needs.

Education / Experience / Skills:

• BE with min. 8-10 years of experience or DME with min. 10-15 years of experience
• Skills: Sound knowledge of any CAD or 3D modelling or plant design software.
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.
• Conversant to manufacturing and assembly drawings, General Arrangement of layouts, Piping & Instrumentation diagram, schematic diagram and symbology, Isometric drawings, GD&T.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO & EOHS

Special Skill

• Being the customize order this position requires sound engineering and technology acumen

Language Skill

• Business fluency in English (both oral and written)
• Language skill in German would be added advantage
