Team Lead - SAP Order Processing

Primary Areas of Responsibility

• Create and maintain sales orders in our SAP ERP application with high quality awareness for our local and global orders in the systems of India, South Korea, USA, Switzerland and soon Italy
• Extract all needed information from customer specifications, technical tender, P&IDs and project cost calculation in very high quality
• Ensure that incoming orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner
• Coordinate with our global Front Sales Managers, Application Engineers and technical departments regarding order process in our SAP ERP application
• Working very closely with our global order entry team and ensuring deputization at any time
• Active participation in the transfer meetings where Sales hands over the projects to the Execution team
• Responsible for the calculation of the sales KPIs "Order Transfer Speed" and "Margin Slippage" in the transfer process for assigned projects
• Maintaining our Dynamics 365 CRM to enter the Sales KPIs for each order
• Creating compressor reference lists in our SAP ERP application to support our global Front Sales Managers
• Maintain the equipment database in our SAP ERP application
• Maintain customer accounts in Dynamics 365 CRM and SAP ERP application
• Exact verification of all project-relevant data between the information in the contract and our Dynamics 365 CRM system
• Calculation of commission payments for follow-up projects

Special Tasks

• For approx. 20% you are responsible to:
  • Coordinate and organize your team in the GSC
  • Train, guide and support your team as a 1st level support (in collaboration with head office in Switzerland)
  • Make sure that you and your team reaches the KPIs
  • Quality control for projects handled in GSC team
• Knowledge of compressor components
• Exposure to handling team

Education/Experience

• Min. 10+ years of experience within Burckhardt Compression, Engineering, CO or Sales
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar education
• Experience in working with the SAP ERP application, experience in the SD module is a plus
• Engineering experience with Labyrinth Piston - and Process Gas Compressors
• Knowledge of international standards like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN etc.

Language Skills

• Fluent in English, orally and in writing, other languages (German) is a plus
