Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to strengthen the commercial organization for our Services division and drive sustainable growth across the Netherlands and Belgium. In this key field-based role, you will manage and expand our customer portfolio, identify new opportunities, and represent our brand and service offerings in two of our European markets.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across the assigned region
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including acquiring new customers and expaning sales within existing accounts
- Monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities to proactively shape regional sales strategies
- Represent and implement slaes and marketing initiatives tailored to the assigned region and customer base
- Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals in close collaboration with inside sales and technical sales.
- Manage the full sales cycle, ensuring smooth order execution and excellent customer experience
- Lead commercial negotiations within approved frameworks and target margins
- Maintain accurate CRM data, ensuring strong pipeline visibility, KPI tracking, comprehensive market insights
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechnical Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B Sales ideally experience with reciprocating compressors
- Proven track record in customer acquisition, business development, and manging the full commercial process
- Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and data-driven sales analysis
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Independent and structured working style combined with a strong team spirit
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and priorization skills, able to manage multiple topics and customers simultaneously
- Valid driving licence and work permit is a must
