Position: Field Service Representative  

 

Location: Vadodara

 

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

 

  • Independent execution of Reciprocating compressor Erection, Installation, Commissioning, upgrade, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance at customer site.
  • Hands-on experience and know-how on civil foundation inspection, Rotating machines alignments, bearing clearance measurements, piston rod runout, various type of couplings.
  • Know-how on API 618 and Non-API Reciprocating compressor and systems.
  • Know-how on various compressor controls and monitoring systems (Machine monitoring, protection).
  • A basic electrical understanding – various types of starter panels, control panels, electrical Motors etc.
  • Able to understand parts manufacturing drawings, tolerances. Basic know how on various grades of metals and alloys, Industrial pipes and high-pressure fittings, various types of welding and machining operation.  
  • Execute Local and Global on-shore as well as off-shore field service assignments.
  • New Machine technical documentation review for I&C cases.
  • Active Participate in Technical Briefing and Debriefing for all service Jobs.
  • Participate Service Review meetings for I&C case.
  • Site reporting and Preparing Site Reports, Protocols.
  • Recommend customer on Spares, tools and manpower required for next maintenance.
  • Active participation in turn-key and/or turn-around projects.
  • Ensure safe industrial practice and adherence of HSE/EOHS guidelines while working at site, including 3rd party manpower/ Customer manpower engaged with site work.
  • Awareness of QEOHS process as per ISO system.
  • Share Near Miss from every job site in de-briefing meeting.
  • Capture customer feedback from every service job.
  • Support Technical Support team in investigation for RCA, Field technical issues closure and project technical discrepancies closure at site.
  • Prepare updated documents for hand-over during debriefing (as built, spare parts, sales opportunities etc.).
  • Support our sales teams by identifying sales opportunities, provide market intelligence from customer sites.
  • Maintenance of individually allocated Special measuring Instruments with timely calibration.
  • Creation of Technical training and operating documents for site execution. On site Training to customers.
  • Previous experience in using hand, hydraulic, pneumatic power tools, material handling equipment such as power operated overhead cranes, hand pallet trucks etc. Must be able to lift weights up to 20 Kg manually.
  • Site Management capabilities. Customer handling and good in business communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize in a dynamic environment and extensive job portfolio.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, Able to work in different cultures and environment, adverse conditions. Flair to handle unexpected situations.
  • Ensure BC Values and Behaviors at customer site.

 

  

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 05 to 07 years of similar experience.
  • Previous Customer service hands-on experience in field support in Refineries, Petrochemicals/ fertilizers, Industrial Gas segment with reciprocating compressors.
  • Service attitude with business acumen. ability to deal with people of different mindset.
  • Analytical skill, technical decision making.
  • Good Presentation & Training skills
  • High Energy level, Flexible, Disciplined / Punctual. Good Physique.
  • Good grasping power, self-motivated & ready to take challenge.
  • English: fluent written and spoken, any other language welcome.
  • Open-mindedness and adaptability to work within international teams and different cultures.
  • Independent working, Team player, Elevated craftsmanship.
  • Customer focused attitude, Proactive personality and professional appearance
