Position: Manager Production Rings and Packing

Location: Vadodara 

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Disciplinary and Technical Management of the Machining Department.
• Resolving workplace conflicts, enforcing company policies.
• Meeting deadlines for the timely creation of Producing, Machining & Assembly work plans
• On-time production/provision of the produced parts in compliance with the specified requirements costs and the required quality
• Early detection of load fluctuations in machining and initiation of corresponding ones.
• Leading team of supervisor, Operator & Contract manpower for daily shop scheduling, load planning
• Measures in close cooperation with the order management (SCM)
• Ensuring the processing of NCRs (Non-Conformity Reports), changes (ECM, ERR) or design changes
• Planning of medium-term resources and investments for the machinery & equipment's.
• Initiation and implementation of projects to ensure and expand competencies in Machining, in coordination with the overarching strategy
• Continuous improvement of procedures, processes across interface boundaries.
• Application and implementation of lean principles in collaboration and coordination with the Operational Excellence/ Lean management team.
• Motivate team members.
• Utilize available resources effectively.
• Upgrade shop floor with advance technology to meet global requirements.
• Ensure the implementation of HR systems within the function for Appraisals, Talent & Performance Review, Succession Planning & Annual Salary review jointly with HR & Functional Head

Education/ experience / languages:

• BE with 10-12 / DME 15-18 years of experience within Rings & Packing Manufacturing, with 3 years in leading the operations and manufacturing
• Deep Knowledge of Mixing and Blending, Compacting, Sintering and CNC machining process.
• Knowledge of Local and English Language mandatory.
• Knowledge of German language would be added advantage
• Hands on Experience in Lean Manufacturing technics like 6S, TPM, Problem Solving, Standard work, Kaizen etc.
