Service Centre Engineer

Location: Vadodara

Your contributions to organisation's growth:

• Responsible for component-level and Complete  compressor repairs, involving high-value, high-criticality equipment and Hands-on expertise with Hyper Compressor/critical / OBC components. Advanced technical knowledge across multiple component types.Deep understanding of complex repair procedures and tolerances
• Ensure the jobs assigned in the workshop are executed according to customer specification, applicable industry norms, BC standards, policies and procedures, including ISO 9001 quality assurance standards are met.
• Goal and mission is to ensure on-time planning and execution of all repair and project orders according to customer requirements (Service, BCx, external customers)
• Ensuring the entire order processing / implementation in the service center
• Risk analysis, their assessment and implementation of appropriate measures
• Disassembly and reassembly of compressor parts like, compressor valves, high pressure packing and similar applications of parts of the reciprocating compressors.
• Providing knowledge and demonstrate capabilities to operate manual machines like, conventional lathe machine, drilling machine, lapping machine, grit blasting machine, and other similar known equipment's.
• Responsibility for the timely, financial and qualitative success of the repair orders
• Prepare supporting documentation and reports in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
• Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental
• Process owner and to maintain quality, ISO certification Audits etc.
• Address quality issues, RCA and reporting
• Implementation of the EOHS rules in the teams
• Prevention of security risks
• Education/ experience / languages
• Diploma in mechanical engineering along with machining.
• 5-7 years of experience in an equivalent position & Full understanding of maintenance / repair job. Machine Shop & Repair Experience for capital equipment & Components
• Knowledge of compressor/pump technology, preferably API618 compressors
• Hands on Experience in repair activities .Good user skills in CRM,ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and MS Office or equivalent IT  advanced user skill
• Diagnostic and problem-solving capability for non-standard failures.Practical exposure to compressors and rotating equipment,ability to guide and review repair processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
