Field Service Representative

We are seeking a Field Service Representative to support our service operations by performing mechanical maintenance, equipment overhauls, troubleshooting, and repair work on compressor systems and related equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands-on work, travel, and solving technical challenges in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on compressor and rotating equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Set up and operate machine tools, including lathes and mills.
- Conduct inspections to ensure components meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Perform CNC programming and machine setup as required.
- Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and maintenance records.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational training or Associate Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compressor maintenance and overhauls, large diesel engine repair, or heavy mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using precision measuring tools.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must provide basic hand tools required for the position.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work overtime, including typical 10-12 hour shifts when needed.
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, balance, push, pull, and work at heights.
