We are looking for a senior IT executive who will act as a right hand to the CIO, supporting in leading IT to become a business-oriented and highly effective organization as a

 

Head of IT Service & Portfolio Management (f/m/d) 100%

 

Your daily contribution:

  • Lead enterprise-wide IT governance, portfolio management, demand management, and performance management
  • Define and implement IT operating models, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization
  • Ensure IT invests in the right priorities while delivering projects and services efficiently and effectively
  • Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and alignment with business objectives
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and remove organizational silos to enable seamless project and service delivery
  • Manage IT financials, budgeting, vendor relationships, contracts, outsourcing partners, and audit requirements
  • Develop and continuously improve core IT processes, including demand, change, incident, vendor, contract, and problem management
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure performance, increase transparency, and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, contribute to IT strategy, and promote a customer-centric, connected company culture

 

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Business administration or equivalent professional qualification, preferred MBA
  • Extensive understanding and track record in IT Service Management, Service Definition, Service Implementation and Service Operations
  • Ideally having been in the role of CIO Office Manager, or as a CIO advisory Consultant
  • relevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., preferably not entry certificates but advanced training
  • Practical in-depth experience in the definition and implementation of IT Operating Models
  • Expertise in budget planning, financial management and work-force management
  • Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs
  • Experience with globally distributed cross-functional teams
  • Extensive Experience in delivering IT projects, IT project methodology and frameworks, and PMO leadership
  • Experience in change and transformation management

  • Ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
  • Able to work with senior leadership and confidence in communication at all levels
  • Strong business partner, ability to quickly adapt the company's business and processes
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changeable industrial environment
  • Fluency in English, German a plus
