Project Engineer 100 % (w/m/d)
 

You are fully responsible for the technically successful implementation of the compressor systems, from the pre-order phase until the acceptance of the running system by the customer. Within the framework of the contractually agreed specifications and in compliance with the applicable international standards and regulations.

In global project, you will be the main contact for client in technical matters and should have an overlook of the complete technical progress of the project.

 

Your future daily work routine:

  • Technical Planning & Design: Lead the technical planning, design, and engineering of complex international projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with CAD Plant designers to develop P&I diagrams, general arrangement, and foundation plans.
  • Technical Specifications: Create detailed technical specifications for equipment, evaluate supplier offers, and support global suppliers, including verification through testing when possible.
  • Supplier Management: Acting as a Project Manager for the goods you are purchasing around the compressor.
  • Plant & System Development: Develop plant and operating concepts, as well as system control descriptions.
  • Meeting Participation: Engage in internal and external technical meetings (e.g., KOM, HAZOP, SIL, Plant Layout Review) to ensure project success.
  • Global Teamwork: Collaborate with global teams and communicate effectively with other internal technical departments.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain direct communication with customers regarding technical aspects of the project.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or equivalent education
  • Up to 5 years of experience as a project engineer in an international environment in industrial plant construction and/or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of the marine, H2 Mobility & Energy, or oil and gas industry would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge in static (pressure vessel, heat exchanger) and rotating (compressor, pumps, drivers) equipment and their applicable codes and standards would be beneficial.
  • PC-skills (Word, Excel, SAP, MS-Project)
  • Business fluent, contractual level English and German skills, speaking and writing.
