Project Manager - Installation & Commissioning (f/m/d) for global projects 80 - 100%

Your daily contribution:

• Project management and process-oriented project management of installations and commissioning of compressor systems
• Primary contact for customers during installation and commissioning phase until receipt of the site acceptance certificate
• Coordination for fast solutions on technical issues that arise during execution on site
• Coordination of installation and commissioning in collaboration with the main project manager, field service representative, field service coordinator, branch offices, sub-contractors and various internal project members
• Conducting and recording internal and external meetings necessary to ensure successful installation
• Together with the field service coordinator you plan and monitor the execution of installation and commissioning (such as awarding of contracts, payments, costs, deadlines via SAP and MS Office tools)
• Responsible for commercial topics during Installation phase: upselling, invoicing, claims management, change management and risk management
• Reporting project costs, risks and project progress to management and main project manager
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Stakeholder management internally and externally
• Together with your global colleagues, you further develop this role and its value within the organizational structure
• Support and guide other departments (e.g. Sales, other PMs) on general installation topics and on cases

Your Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Completed education as a mechanical engineer, or similar.
• Preferably knowledge of the oil, gas, marine or petrochemical industries as well as plant engineering.
• In addition to PC skills (Word, Excel, SAP, MS Project)
• Very good and fluent written and spoken English is essential
