After a successful induction period you are responsible for independent quality management of accessory components for our compressor units as a
Quality Assurance Engineer for Auxiliaries 100 % (f/m/d)
Your daily contribution:
- Implementation of customer requirements into inspection plans and inspection instructions, based on specifications and legal regulations
- Participation in customer and supplier meetings (Pre-Inspection Meetings)
- Review of relevant quality-related preliminary documents from suppliers, such as drawings, part lists, calculations, welding documents, etc.
- Inspection and approval of material certificates (EN10204, 2.1 / 2.2 / 3.1 / 3.2) & NDT certificates
- Expediting suppliers in cooperation with Procurement Department to ensure deadlines are met
- Conducting inspections of pressure vessels, piping, frame-mounted compressor, oil, and water systems at subcontractors; approximately 20% travel within Europe. Checking quality documentation.
- Assisting customer inspectors during inspections
- Compilation of the required final quality documentation
- Supporting sales, project management, and procurement in quality assurance issues
- Participation in supplier audits
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training in plant construction, welding operations, or manufacturing
- Further education (FA / HF) in the fields of plant construction, QMS is an advantage
- Experience in quality management for 2 years or more
- Good knowledge of welding regulations, standards/norms such as ASME Codes and/or AD Guidelines (EN standards)
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods such as RT, MT, PT, VT, UT
- Knowledge of European directives ATEX (2014/34/EU), PED (2014/68/EU), Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) is an advantage
- Knowledge of EN ISO 9001 structure is a benefit solid
- Good PC skills in MS Office (Word, Excel). Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Expect travel activity within Europe (10-20%)
- Good command in English (level B2) and German
